New Delhi, October 31: With the theme of “Use water with more care-save our future generation”, the Central Ground Water Board under Water Resources Ministry will be organizing 8th National Painting Competition on Water Conservation and Pollution for school students of 6th, 7th and 8th Standards.
The painting competition will be of two hours for 6th, 7th and 8th standards students in their schools on the mentioned theme preferably on A-4 size paper. Three best paintings will be selected by the school principals and then send to the nodal officer so as the paintings should be reaching to the officer before 15th December 2017.
The backside of the painting should have the information of the students such as Name of the Student, Father’s/Mother’s Name, Class, School name and Postal Address, Telephone or Mobile Number, Aadhaar Number, E-Mail-ID of Students, Address of School and Signature of Principal.
Top three contenders of the earlier competitions are not eligible for the participation. The consolation prize winners also participate and consider for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize but only as the school level painting competition. The board of Jury of State level Painting Completion which is to be held in January 2018 selects the top 50 paintings received from School level competition.
Each participant of State level Painting completion would be paid an incidental charge of Rs.1000/- in cash. Participants, along with two parents/ guardians would also be paid to and fro fare by ordinary bus/sleeper class rail fare from the place of residence to the competition venue.
State level Painting completion’s each participant will be paid Rs.1000 of an incidental charge in cash. The fro fare by ordinary bus/sleeper class rail fare from the place of residence to competition venue will be paid to the participants along with two parents or guardians. Aadhaar or Aadhaar enrolment is mandatory for all participants.
1st, 2nd and 3rd prize winner of the State level Painting competition will be invited to Delhi to participate in the National level Painting competition which is to be held in February/March 2018. State or National Level prize winners would be awarded cash prize on the same day. State or UT level First prize is Rs. 5,000. Second Prize is Rs. 3000 and Third Prize is Rs. 2000 while 10 Consolation prizes of Rs. 1000 each will be given.
The First Prize for National Level is Rs. 50,000, Second Prize is Rs. 25,000 and the Third Prize is Rs. 10,000. 83 Consolation Prizes of Rs. 5,000 each will be distributed.
