Forum for Awareness of National Security reiterates commitment to “Viksit Bharat – Divya Bharat”

On the first day of the AGM, Indresh Kumar, National Executive Member, of RSS and the patron and inspiration of FANS, shared his views on the theme of “A New Global Order! Viksit Bharat! Divya Bharat!” He quoted a shloka from Ramayana, Jananījanmabhūmiścasvargādapigarīyasi (Mother and motherland are superior to Heaven), to explain the ethos and true nature of Bharat. He said Bharat has responded to the world through knowledge and set an example through her character and behavior. He also deliberated on the different aspects of national security and provided a road map to achieve the objective.


Vijay Manohar Tiwari highlighted that India has never perpetrated violence or colonized any other country, and we must strive hard to preserve her rich tradition and culture. K.J. Singh observed that Bharat has set an example by rescuing people from the war-ridden zones. According to him, this clearly shows the emergence of powerful Bharat. He also shed light on India’s growing economic power and how it will change the current global situation. He also focused on women-led development and how they have contributed to social and national development in every field of society.

Golok Bihari Rai said that our 'Developed India' goal is not just comforts and material development, but our idea is to give direction to the world. We must continuously make collective efforts to build a developed and Divya Bharat. India has to become an ideal superpower. Avedh Kumar,the Senior journalist, said that for many years, the spirit of service has been a core value of Indian tradition. Making sacrifices for others in India has always been considered the highest goal of human life. Today, India is giving direction to the world. India has to become not just a military power but an economic power, too; India has to become an ideal superpower.


J.P. Sharma shared his “One Nation, One Law” ideas with the August assembly. He said that in 1830 when British came to India, they thought of a law system through which they could penalize and punish Indians. Now, the law should be reformed according to the needs of our society, and it should be India-centric and reflect Indian ethos.
Dr. Varnika Sharma deliberated on the idea of Viksit Bharat@2047 and the role of youth in making it a great success. Lt. General K.J. Singh pondered over the Indian principle of solution through dialogue and discussion. In his deliberation, Dr Anil Soumitra, Regional Director IIMC, Jammu Kashmir, discussed the importance of media and virtual platforms. He focused on the transforming landscape of communication and the medium of information dissemination. According to him, these platforms should be used to share indigenous knowledge and character building because, nowadays, all forms of development are communication-centric. A team of FANS from Arunachal Pradesh, including Dr Robin Hissang and V.N. Pandey, shared information about various programs they conducted in the Arunachal pradesh.

The FANS team also shared information related to its journals Lok Sambhasan and Raksham. They urged all members to share their ideas and views through articles, research papers, and reviews. Looking ahead, the annual meeting served as a platform to discuss future goals and strategies. Members brainstormed ideas for upcoming projects and initiatives to enrich the organization's outreach and social development. Collaborative efforts with local partners and stakeholders were emphasized as integral to achieving these goals.

The FANS’s executive members and units were also announced on the AGM's concluding day i.e. on June 30. In addition to this, various chapters were also announced, and activities were going on throughout the year: 1. “One Nation, One Law”, 2. Discussion about the Role of Bharat in global war-conflict, 3. Expansionist attitude of China and Chinese Hegemony, 4. Cyber Security and Hybrid Warfare. The annual meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to uphold the organization's mission of fostering positive social change through collective action and community engagement.
