This came after their colony was flooded with unhygienic pipe water for the past 10-15 days, causing health concerns and posing a general nuisance. Several videos of the flooding went viral on social media.

Councillor Rajpal Singh also highlighted that the residents have been facing a lot of problems due to flooding of dirty water resulting in health concerns. He emphasized the urgency of the situation, highlighting the health risks and inconveniences faced by the residents.

Notably, the accumulated dirty water originated from a drain under the Public Works Department's (PWD) jurisdiction.

Further, he criticized Minister Atishi, questioning her commitment to addressing the needs of her constituents and demanding her resignation if she fails to resolve the issue.

Residents echoed Singh's concerns, expressing their dissatisfaction with the lack of attention given to their problems despite facing various challenges. They specifically pointed out the absence of MLA Atishi in the camp since her election victory.

This incident highlights the ongoing struggle of residents in Kalkaji to access basic amenities and receive timely intervention from local authorities to address their grievances.
