New Delhi, Jan 8: In a significant development, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on Sunday personally invited actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt to attend the Ram Mandir inauguration in Ayodhya on January 22. This development has raised many eyebrows as a section of people feel that this a hypocrisy and this couple does not deserve to go to the Ram Mandir. But as we try to digger deeper into the concept, it matches the theme #SabKeRam.

Ranbir Kapoor to play Bhagwan Ram but....
It is pertinent to mention that Ranbir Kapoor is set to play Bhagwan Shri Ram in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana. He will be sharing the screen with South Indian actress Sai Pallavi, who is said to play Sita in the film and KGF star Yash is playing Raavan in the movie. It was also reported that Ranbir Kapoor has abstained completely from drinking and eating meat to be ‘as pure as Ram’ in the film.
But, a controversy erupted when a complaint was filed at a police station here against Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor and his family members for allegedly hurting religious sentiments over a viral video showing them celebrating Christmas. In the video, Ranbir is seen pouring liquor on the cake and setting it on fire while saying "Jai Mata Di".
In Hinduism, the fire god is invoked before invoking other deities, but Ranbir Kapoor and his family members deliberately used intoxicants while celebrating the festival of another religion and chanted “Jai Mata Di”, the complaint said.
Few are not happy!
Inviting them has irked a section of people who feel that this a hypocrisy and this couple does not deserve to go to the Ram Mandir because there have been instances were their lack of knowledge has been pointed towards Hindu gods including Bhagwan Shri Ram.

Inviting them symbolizes the idea that the worship of Bhagwan Shri Ram goes beyond the boundaries and is includes individuals from various backgrounds.
