It seems like Congress has more than one "intellectual" in their party. To prove this, Congress spokesperson Lavanya Ballal Jain, while slamming the right-wingers over the findings of the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) from the site of the disputed Gyanvapi mosque, made a huge blunder drawing the attention of netizens over her ignorance.

Lavanya reckoned that the survey conducted by the Archaeological Survey of India is similar to random surveys and not ‘real’ archaeological findings. "It’s a survey not archaeological findings. What existed in their cranium of Sanghi’s before bigotry?" she tweeted.

The development came after ASI in its 850-page report revealed that a large Hindu temple existed at the site of the disputed Gyanvapi mosque.

Netizens were quick to notice this blunder made by the Congress spokesperson and schooled about her lack of knowledge about ASI.

Notably, an archaeological survey is a systematic and organised method used by archaeologists to locate, identify, and record archaeological sites and artefacts within a particular area. One such survey conducted by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) at the site of the disputed Gyanvapi mosque revealed the existence of a large Hindu temple.
