Under the visionary guidance of the Yogi government, Ayodhya has witnessed the creation of four major routes inspired by the four Vedas and four Yugas for Ramotsav 2024 in a spectacular display of cultural upliftment. The inspiration of the four Vedas and four Yugas serve specific purposes that serve the city and aligns with the cultural, spiritual and developmental aspects. Ram Path, Janmabhoomi Path, Bhakti Path and Dharma Path are a major step towards linking traditional knowledge with contemporary infrastructure, marking Ayodhya's transition from the past to a bright future.

Ram Path

Ram Path, which cost Rs 844.94 crore to build, stretches for 12.94 km from Sahadatganj to Lata Mangeshkar Chowk (Naya Ghat). This roadway, which was once an unplanned single-lane road, has now been transformed into a four-lane beauty that reflects the spirit of Ayodhya's past. Lata Chowk was inaugurated as a tribute to the musical heritage of the city and a sign of Ayodhya's changing identity. The expansion and beautification of this path aim to improve connectivity, reduce congestion, and enhance the overall aesthetics of the area, contributing to the city's identity.

Janmabhoomi Path

Small Janmabhoomi Path, which runs from Sugriva kila (Birla Dharamshala) to Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, is 0.580 kilometers long but has huge cultural significance. This roadway, which was once a narrow, single-lane road with many invasions, was converted into a double-lane road at a cost of Rs 41.02 crore to facilitate the travel of pilgrims with the goal of providing a seamless journey to the sacred Ram Janmabhoomi. This historically important road gets a contemporary twist with the installation of CCTV-based smart surveillance.

Bhakti Path

The 0.742 km Bhakti Path, costing Rs 68.04 crore, which stretches from Shringaar Haat to Hanuman Garhi, reflects the spirit of devotion. This walkway, once a single-lane road plagued by invasion and traffic jams, has been expanded to four lanes to support beautification and tourism projects. The integration of creative landscaping with smart monitoring reflects the dedication to enhancing the overall ambiance, fostering a conducive environment for tourism and cultural exploration.

Dharam Path

With an estimated cost of Rs 65.40 crore, the 2-km Dharma Path, which runs from Lata Mangeshkar Chowk to Lucknow-Gorakhpur Highway, tackles the past traffic problems. The walkway, once a congested single-lane road, has been upgraded to include four lanes and a grand entrance. The widening of this path and the construction of a majestic entrance gate aim to alleviate traffic congestion, promote eco-friendly commuting, and contribute to the overall aesthetic development of Ayodhya.

Under the Yogi Adityanath-led government, Ayodhya has made revolutionary progress towards development that encompasses its rich cultural and spiritual heritage beyond the physical infrastructure of the city. By painstakingly paving these four paths, Ayodhya demonstrates Ayodhya's dedication to reclaiming its former glory and laying the groundwork for a peaceful, seamless fusion of tradition and progress.

These roads tell the story of Ayodhya, which goes beyond construction details. It is a story of a community's shared dedication to building a culturally rich, future that is harmonious with its distinctive history. The leadership of the Yogi government is lighting the way for Ayodhya to become a spiritual capital by 2047, one that respects the city's past while welcoming future opportunities.
