He stated that because of superior technology and increased budgets, BRO projects have been finished quickly in recent years. The BRO is building roads, tunnels, and bridges along the border.

The BRO is creating roads to link people living in the rural as part of the government of India's projects. In the last few years, around 300 BRO projects totaling Rs 8,000 crore have been completed.

The central government boosted the funding for BRO projects by 2% this fiscal year. In Ladakh, a BRO museum with 3D technology is also in the works.

In a briefing on the 3D technology building in Chandigarh, the Director General Border Roads stated that the BRO and L&T Construction have collaborated to establish a world-class facility Himank Air Dispatch unit, which would have cutting-edge 3D printing technology.

On 1.98 acres, the campus houses facilities for officers, junior commission officers, and lower ranks, as well as an administration building and storage facilities.

Biophilic design is the inspiration for this facility. Terraces, gardens, and balconies stretch the scenery from the ground to the buildings.

These spaces function as revitalizing outdoor places that contribute as passive design elements along the lines of sustainability.

Six building blocks are housed at the complex. Five of the six building blocks are made with 3D printing technology, and one is made with precast technology.
