When flying from London Heathrow to more Delhi or Mumbai, eight more codeshare destinations are now accessible. This contains three new locations previously unavailable to British Airways passengers.

"British Airways has been flying to India since 1924, making it one of our longest-served and most valued destinations," said Neil Chernoff, Director of Network and Alliances at British Airways. "Through our partnership with IndiGo, customers will be able to book their entire journey on a single ticket, allowing seamless travel all the way from London to their final destination, providing customers with more choice and flexibility."

"This collaboration broadens the options available to British Airways customers for journeys to/from London Heathrow by leveraging IndiGo's extensive network in India," said Abhijit Dasgupta, Senior Vice President, Network Planning and Revenue Management at IndiGo. "This step to provide seamless connectivity will not only support trade and commerce between the two countries, but will also provide students and tourists with convenient travel options."

British Airways presently operates 56 flights each week from India to London, exceeding pre-pandemic levels. The airline serves five Indian gateways: Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, and Hyderabad.
