Singh further stated that the work on the Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) facility will be finished shortly. He stated that 11 more projects have been conducted in Lucknow.

"Though they will take some time to complete, I can say that people will see a completely different Lucknow in the next few years," added the minister.

During his June visit, Singh stated that "everything from nuts and bolts to BrahMos missiles would be manufactured in the Uttar Pradesh Defence Industrial Corridor (UPDIC)".

"Through the defence corridors in Uttar Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, we have created a favorable environment for defense manufacturing." "UPDIC has informed me that there is a plan to acquire approximately 1,700 hectares of land for this corridor, with more than 95 percent of the land already acquired," he stated.

Singh stated in the 'Sanatana Dharma' row, "Sanatana Dharma gives the message of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam." It has neither a beginning nor an end. There is no force in the world that can stop it. If Sanatan Dharma is threatened, it will be a major threat."

Recently, DMK leaders Udhayanidhi Stalin and A Raja declared that Sanatan Dharma had seeded splits in society and that it needed to be destroyed along the lines of illnesses such as dengue, malaria, and coronavirus.
