The Volunteer Members of ISA Pune Section, who have been playing a vital role in taking the organization miles ahead, have discussed various areas of the organization where they have been interacting with an entire ecosystem.

Mr. Karam Rehani who is a Senior Life member of ISA explained the history of ISA and its benefits to every industrialist around the world.

 

Ms. Sujata Tilak Board Member of ISA Global explained the importance of ISA and its role due to ever-expanding automation needs in operations other than manufacturing industries. Further, she also explained explains the structure of ISA as an organization.

 

It is pertinent to mention that ISA has developed 150 worldwide standards related to automation. E.g. standards for cyber security IEC 62443, ISA 95 for integration of automation and enterprise. 

 

She emphasized ISA training and certifications on various topics. She further explained how ISA can be helpful to startups at the local Section level, District level, and Global level.

 

All the panelists also shared and discussed how ISA can be helpful to industries, academia, and startups is discussed.

 

Mr. H S Pansare – Past President of ISA Pune Section elaborated benefits of being ISA member, what are the takeaways, and how he successfully grew membership by 200% in his tenure.

Mr. Satish Pathak founder of a tech innovation startup and membership chair of the ISA Pune section emphasizes the importance of the ISA Global innovation award, and how it is helpful in evaluating the potential of respective tech innovation in the field of industrial automation. He further explained the importance of being a member of ISA and how to go about it.
