Passing derogatory remarks against Hinduism, and Hindu gods by teachers, and professors has become a trend now. In yet another development, a teacher of King George School in Dewas, MP, is teaching students that building a Ram Mandir in Ayodhya is a "waste of money" and instead they should build more churches and convert to Christianity.
This came after a video of school children complaining about the teacher is going viral on the internet. The teacher has been identified as Sudhanshu Gehlot.
In the video, one student said, "Teacher is teaching that building Ram Mandir is a waste of money. Government officials take bribes and are corrupted. They spend money on useless things. And building Ram Mandir is "Faltu". This money should be distributed to the poor and build as many as churches and get converted to Christianity."
"The teacher said to us, "Why should I believe in God if he doesn't believe in me". When the students protested, the teacher threatened the students rusticating them, and the students informed them.
The teacher also asked the students to remove the tilak. When the students started to question this behavior of the teacher, the latter kicked some of the students out of the class.
In another incident, another teacher also harassed the students. She slapped one of the students for 5-6 times who raised slogans of Jai Shri Ram and also hit him against the wall.
In fact, a day before, on Saturday, the members of the organization Ram Ram had come to talk to the school manager regarding the remarks made by the school teacher about religion. Similarly, when members of the organization spoke to the children, many other anti-religious things came to their attention.
Following such incidents, the students complained about the teacher to the school principal.
Meanwhile, both the school teachers, Sudhanshu Gehlot and Rekha Soni, have been suspended, as well as an application against them has been given by the school administration and members of the Hindu outfit at the industrial area police station, informed school principal Alka Kanojia.
