Sidhi, July 5: Taking strict action, the Madhya Pradesh administration has bulldozed the illegal encroachment done by Pravesh Shukla who urinated on a tribal labourer in Sidhi.

The man was arrested after his video of urinating on a tribal labourer went viral on social media. MP Home Minister Narottam Mishra had said that CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed to register a case against Shukla under NSA.
 
 
After the video went viral, the accused was alleged to be a BJP worker associated with MLA from Sidhi Kedarnath Shukla. However, Shukla said: "He [the culprit in the video] is neither my representative nor an associate. He is not connected to BJP in any way. I am demanding strict action against the culprit."
 
Earlier, CM Chouhan had ordered the authorities to take stringent action against accused Pravesh Shukla in this case. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the accused will not be spared at any cost. "A viral video of Sidhi district has come to my notice... I have instructed the administration to arrest the culprit and take strict action and also impose NSA," CM Chouhan tweeted in Hindi.

The accused was arrested late in the night. Anjulata Patle, Additional SP, Sidhi said, "As the video of urinating on the victim surfaced, a case was registered in the Bahri police station. The culprit was arrested after booking the case. A team of police personnel from three police stations was formed and they collected information from the sources. The accused was arrested at around 2 o’clock in the night. He will now be investigated."
Following the incident, the police booked Shukla under Sections 294 (obscene acts), 504 (Intentional insult) of the Indian Penal Code and other provisions of the Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
