Hyderabad, July 4: In yet another attempt to deliberately hurt the sentiment of the Hindu community, a Muslim man allegedly urinated near a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Telangana.

 

The incident took place on July 3 at around 8:30 p.m. in Telangana's Gajwal town of Siddipet district.

 

Soon after, the local caught the man urinating, started assaulting him, and made him apologise. The man, who was under the influence of alcohol, was then forced to clean the area where he allegedly urinated by pouring a bucket of water.

 

 

He is then paraded on the road, with clothes torn at some places, amid loud sloganeering by the mob. The video of the incident went viral on social media. Visuals of the incident that surfaced online show people forcing the man to clean the place with water.

 

In multiple viral videos, the mob can be seen heckling the man by chanting Jai Shri Ram, Bharat Mata ki jai, and Chhatrapati Shivaji ki jai.

 

 

 

Since the incident, Police have increased patrolling and are on high alert. The person who urinated has been arrested and remanded in custody. Sections 294, 295A, and 504 of the Indian Penal Code have been registered against him.

 

 

 

 

As soon as the news broke in the media, some leftist media houses tried to showcase Muslim men as victims. They twist the story by highlighting a Hindu mob that assaulted a "drunk Muslim man" and forcefully paraded him on the road while shouting religious slogans for allegedly urinating near a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

 

One media house named Madhyamam published the story with the title "Muslim drunkard forced to lick his urine for urinating near Shivaji statue."

 

 

 

In its story, it said, "A Hindu mob assaulted a Muslim man, who is alleged to have urinated near a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji under the influence of alcohol, and paraded with torn clothes while shouting 'Jai Shri Ram,' 'Bharat Mata ki Jai,' and 'Chhatrapati Shivaji ki Jai."

 

Moreover, another news channel, Newsbytes, mentioned Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the headline as just Shivaji. In the headline, they wrote, "Muslim man paraded for allegedly urinating near Shivaji's statue."

 

It is shocking how liberals reported it as a very casual incident. If we look at the liberal's point of view, then Hindus should casually accept insulting the iconic Hindu leaders.
