Bilaspur, July 03: A new case of love jihad has come to light in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. The accused, Aqib Javed first befriended a young Hindu woman, developed a relationship with her, and then later he started pressurizing her to change her religion to Islam. A complaint has been filed against him.

 

 

 

After raping her, when the girl became pregnant twice, she was also made to have an abortion by Aqib. When talked about marriage, he pressurized her to convert. When the victim did not agree, she was beaten with a belt.

 

According to the reports, the 22-year-old girl currently resides in Sakri area of Bilaspur who had come in search of job. She met Aqib Javed in 2020 and he pretended to get her a good job and befriended with her. On December 20, Aqib took the girl in a car on the road outside Bilaspur, saying that he was going for a trip, and took her to the forest and said that I have got you a job at a good place, I want something from you in return and raped her.

 

 

He continuously stalked her and threatened her. According to the girl, in 2021, she had taken an expensive phone worth Rs 45,000. A few months later, Aqib took the phone and sold it and when asked, gave a vague answer. The girl told in her complaint that Aqib came to her room and sexually assaulted. He even fled with gold chain, earrings and 33000 kept in her wardrobe.

 

After two days, Aqib met the girl and apologized taking the girl into confidence. After this, he continued to have a relationship with the girl. In May 2022, on the day of Aqib's birthday, when the girl told him that she was pregnant, Aqib got angry and asked to abort the child. Further, he forced her to convert to Islam but she refused. He even gave her some medicine and got the girl miscarried.

 

Here, Aqib stayed away from giving the girl for two months. After two months, he went to the girl's room and apologized by holding her feet and assured not to make such a mistake again. When the girl became pregnant again in March 2023, she was again forced to have an abortion. Aqib forced the girl to have an abortion by feeding her an abortion pill.

 

Now, the police have registered an FIR against Aqib Javed Khan resident Kumharpara and is taking further action.
