New Delhi, July 03: "The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will provide six services, mostly free, along the lines of Delhi if it is voted to power in Chhattisgarh", party chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Sunday.

"We will give free electricity, free magnificent schools like in Delhi where children of rich and poor study together, free hospitals and clinics, free bus travel for women, free holy trips to religious places for senior citizens and employment," said Kejriwal at a rally in Bilaspur city.

He said while Chhattisgarh was rich in resources such as “forests, agricultural land, rivers, minerals” but the state was known only for scams.

"Before AAP, even Delhi was known for scams. Now, Delhi is known for its schools, mohalla clinics, hospitals, progress, development and prosperity," the Delhi CM said.

Kejriwal targeted both the BJP and the ruling Congress at the rally. Although he did not name his Chhattisgarh counterpart Bhupesh Baghel, the AAP leader targeted PM Narendra Modi and repeated his education jibe at him.

"Demonetisation destroyed our country beyond repair. Did it end corruption or terrorism? Any educated person would never do demonetisation. India is a great country… should it not have a well-educated PM?" Kejriwal said.

Further, Kejriwal said people are fed up of BJP and Congress. “They both have looted Chhattisgarh. That is why a large crowd has gathered for the AAP rally today. If the BJP and Congress had worked honestly here, then so many people would not have come to our rally. People are unhappy with the two parties. On the other hand, people are very happy with our governments in Delhi and Punjab.”
