CPI(M) VIP culture at its worst! Overspeeding Kerala education minister's pilot vehicle knocks over an ambulance carrying patient

On one hand when our Prime Minister Narendra Modi set an example & stopped his convoy to give way to an ambulance during his massive roadshow to showcase that the common man's life is more important than VIP culture, here is Kerala Minister whose high-speeding convoy hit an ambulance and bike, leaving three injured, including the patient in Kollam's Kottarakkara.

 

 

What is more shocking is that after the accident the minister doesn't even stop to check. The incident was captured on a CCTV camera. The incident took place at Pulamon Junction.

 

The entire incident that was caught on surveillance cameras has surfaced online. The video clip shows the escort vehicle coming from another direction at a high speed and ramming into the ambulance, causing it to overturn. The police vehicle can also be seen hitting a motorcycle. However, the riders have a narrow escape.

 

 

 

The overturned ambulance also skidded and came closer to a traffic police officer who was on duty. According to the report, a case has been registered against the drivers of both the ambulance and the police vehicle.

 

Outrage has erupted on social media after the CCTV footage of the incident went viral on social media.

 

The 2019 amendment of the Motor Vehicles Act, of 1988 brought in the provision for punishment for obstructing emergency vehicles, so under section 194E, obstructing an ambulance is punishable with imprisonment for six months and a fine up to 10 thousand rupees.
