The BJP on Monday said that it would start a helpline number by the party’s Karnataka legal cell to save workers from all “legal atrocities” by the Congress government in the state.

 

Bengaluru South MP Tejasvi Surya said that the party held a meeting on Monday with 50 lawyers from across the country to discuss the issue.

 

 

 

We are going to file cases against Congress leaders’ false allegations and cases registered against our party members, the BJP MP said.

 

“We even witnessed a case registered against a party worker in Raichur. We are seeing politics of hate against us from the Siddaramaiah government. False cases and FIRs are being registered, fake news articles and news are also being circulated across papers and social media to malign the image of our party and its members. In lieu of this, we held a meeting today with our lawyers,” said Surya.

 

 

The Bengaluru South MP added that the party came up with three solutions for the issue.

 

“We will fight all the false cases against us, through a helpline number to protect our party workers. This will come into force in a week. Within 24 hours, the workers who get false cases can try for relief,” Tejasvi Surya shared.
