New Delhi, June 30: In a significant development, the Modi-led government has decided to introduce a bill on implementing a Uniform Civil Code (UCC) during the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament, according to reports.
This development comes in the backdrop after a notice was issued by the Law Commission of India, wherein it sought the opinions of stakeholders on this issue.
