On the day of Eid, Twitter witnesses yet another anti-Islam trend on a go owing to the surge and fear instilled in people's mind due to impact of jihad. This time it is #Halal. The tweet mentions Halal to be a tool that the Muslim minority is using to impose aspects of Sharia on the non-Muslim majority in the West.

The tweet goes on stating, "Did you know that "halal” food was just “recently invented” as a label and as a potential commercial market in collaboration between Iranian terrorists and multinational agri-food businesses?" The user further adds, "The halal market never existed in the Muslim world until food ‘big business’ was created and exported it. The halal convention was born in the 70s and 80s. After the Iranian Revolution in 1979, halal became a fundamentalist food requirement habit, sanctified by economic interests."

The tweet informs that, in the 1970s, Iran and Saudi Arabia, which were engaged in a competition to spread their vision of Islam throughout the world, found help from multinationals such as Nestlé, which had in mind the creation of the large global halal food market.

The needless cruelty of Halal slaughter is being allowed to bleed into Western society not only by the current progressive consensus that all cultures are better than ours but by food producers and retailers eager to grab the Muslim market and who need to be reminded that the Muslim market is still a minority market and that the rest of us have more buying power.

The user eventually appeals everyone saying, "To stop the expansion of Islam into the West, make sure that whatever you buy does not have a Halal label!" In Indian context, another user shares a photo of Thirumala's curd packet that has 'Halal' certification and questions what is the need for such certification. 'Thirumala' is a dairy brand from Tamil Nadu.

In another tweet Mumbai's infamous incident of Halal was shared, whereby the user mentioned, "Mohsin Shaikh brought a Lamb inside 'JP Infra Housing Society', (Mumbai) to halal it on Eid, which is against the society rules." He further shared that if they (Jihadi Muslims) are not stopped today, they will enter your homes for Halal.

Another case was shared against the products of Laxmi Frozen Foods, that are based in uttar Pradesh's Kanpur. The tweet mentions, "Didn’t notice that Laxmi Frozed foods are Halal certified. I am ok with people who want to eat Halal due to their religious beliefs. I will not be forced to “only buy Halal” because of someone else’s religious beliefs. Also as a Sikh this is against our maryada. Not buying Laxmi brand anymore."
