The much-anticipated film The Kerala Story, based on real-life victims who suffered forced religious conversion and got into the terrorist organization ISIS, is creating a stir across the country. In the latest development, Director Sudipto Sen's The Kerala Story has been granted an 'A' certificate with 10 cuts by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). Among the 10 cuts is an interview of a former chief minister of Kerala, VS Achuthanandan.
In that interview, he had raised concerns about the plight of Kerala state which is neglecting the fact about the Love Jihad cases, the Popular Front of India and the Islamisation of the state.
Know what former CM of Kerala, VS Achuthanandan said in the 2010 interview which the CBFC wants its deleted-
1. Taking a firm stand against Muslim extremism in Kerala, Achuthanandan had said the radical Popular Front of India (PFI), was aiming to convert Kerala into a Muslim country in the next 20 years. Notably, PFI had hit the headlines at that time after its activists were accused of chopping off the hand of a college lecturer as he had prepared a question paper that allegedly insulted the Prophet.
2. Using unusually harsh language, the Chief Minister said the PFI was pumping money to lure youth into Islam and persuade them to marry Muslim women. "Their strategy is to make Muslims a majority community in Kerala. In 20 years, they want to make Kerala a Muslim majority state," he said.
3. Achuthanandan said terrorists were creating major problems in the state. "The outfit,in its earlier avatar as NDF,had given training, money and weapons to youngsters to eliminate opponents. Now they were trying to create a clean image by organising freedom parades on the Independence Day. Several district administrations had already banned the parade", he added.
4. He said that Muslim fundamentalists in the State were trying to increase their clout by encouraging conversions. For achieving that goal, he alleged that the outfit were pumping money to attract youth and give them weapons. "They also persuade them to marry Hindu girls," Achuthanandan said. In short, he was referring to ‘Love Jihad’.
Films like ‘The Kerala Story’ are attempting to expose the very foundation of forced conversion and illegal terror operations active on the behest of organisations like PFI in India. It shows how 32,000 non-muslim women were forced to convert and then landed up being ISIS agents in the state. The rising conversion activities are still active in the State with support of governments. Yet, the state government is trying to ban the release of the film and this shows how badly the ruling party is involved with the conversion mafia and terror organisations active in the state.
