Aurangzeb's poster surfaces in protests organized by AIMIM; Sharad Pawar asks for proof of it

As per the reports, slogans like, "Jab tak suraj chand rahega, Aurangzeb tera naam rahega”, have also been raised during the hunger strike. The video of the protest which took place on March 4 (Saturday) has been making rounds on social media.

Sambhajinagar, March 07: In a shocking development, a poster of the Moghul tyrant Aurangzeb surfaced during the protest organized by Imtiyaz Zaleel MP of Sambhajinagar against the renaming of his constituency.

As per the reports, slogans like, "Jab tak suraj chand rahega, Aurangzeb tera naam rahega”, have also been raised during the hunger strike. The video of the protest which took place on March 4 (Saturday) has been making rounds on social media.

 
The BJP Maharashtra Vice President Madhav Bhandari threw light on the matter. Sharing the photo of the incident, he tweeted, “This is a case of glorifying the Hindu-detractor Aurangzeb. Uddhav Thackeray has an alliance with a party that claims to have an ideological alliance with the same AIMIM. The same AIMIM corporators had openly helped the Uddhav faction’s leader Ambadas Danave. The same AIMIM had supported the Uddhav faction in MLC and Rajya Sabha elections.”
 
An offence has been registered against four unidentified persons in the City Chowk Police. The police are on the lookout for them.
 
Reacting to the news, Supremo of the National Congress Party, Sharad Pawar, questioned the veracity of the news. He asked, “What is the proof that the images were of Aurangzeb? Have you seen the real Aurangzeb? Nor did we. Who will say that it was Aurangzeb’s photo?”
