After being trapped in front by Aussie pacer Mitchell Starc on the first ball he faced in the first two ODIs, Suryakumar made it three in a row when he was cleaned up by spinner Ashton Agar.
The 32-year-old was leg-before to Mitchell Starc in the first and second matches of the series -- on both occasions also on the first delivery of his innings.

Sachin Tendulkar, Anil Kumble, Zaheer Khan, Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah are the other Indian batters to have registered three consecutive ducks in ODIs. Overall, Yadav was the 14th batter to register three golden ducks on the trot. The list includes names like Alec Stewart, Andrew Symonds and Shane Watson.
The visitors clinched the three-match ODI series 2-1 with a comfortable 21-run victory, in Chennai on Wednesday. Chasing a stiff target of 270 on a tricky pitch, India were all out for 248 in 49.1 overs as Australia came back in the series after losing the first ODI by five wickets.
The series defeat is an indicator that the Indian team is far from prepared for the World Cup and there are too many loose ends that needs to be tied.
