Rakhi Sawant's husband Adil Durrani sent to judicial custody over dowry harassment allegations

Rakhi Sawant's husband Adil Khan Durrani was on Wednesday (8 February) sent to judicial custody by the Andheri court. Durrani was arrested after Rakhi, the Bigg Boss 14 finalist, in her complaint accused him of dowry, harassment, performing unnatural sex, physical assault and financial fraud.

The actress filed the complaint against her husband on February 6. Acting on the complaint, the police arrested Adil on February 7.
 
 
A police official said Rakhi Sawant met Durrani in January 2022 and the two opened a joint business account. According to Rakhi Sawant, Durrani withdrew over Rs 1.5 crore from the account in June 2022 to buy a car.

Speaking to the media, Rakhi Sawant's lawyer Falguni Brahmbhatt said that they appealed to court to send Adil Durrani to police custody, however, the magistrate sent him to judicial custody.
