After the Supreme Court's historic decision, know who said what-

"Today's Supreme Court verdict on the abrogation of Article 370 is historic and constitutionally upholds the decision taken by the Parliament of India on 5th August 2019; it is a resounding declaration of hope, progress and unity for our sisters and brothers in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh. The Court, in its profound wisdom, has fortified the very essence of unity that we, as Indians, hold dear and cherish above all else.
“I want to assure the resilient people of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh that our commitment to fulfilling your dreams remains unwavering. We are determined to ensure that the fruits of progress not only reach you but also extend their benefits to the most vulnerable and marginalised sections of our society who suffered due to Article 370.”

The verdict today is not just a legal judgment; it is a beacon of hope, a promise of a brighter future and a testament to our collective resolve to build a stronger, more united India." - Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India

"Courts. Some battles are fought to be lost. For history must record the uncomfortable facts for generations to know. The right and wrong of institutional actions will be debated for years to come. History alone is the final arbiter of the moral compass of historic decisions" - Kapil Sibal, Congress leader.

Kapil Sibal had also appeared on behalf of the petitioners in Supreme Court.

"I welcome the Honorable Supreme Court of India's verdict upholding the decision to abolish #Article370.
On the 5th of August 2019, PM @narendramodi Ji took a visionary decision to abrogate #Article370. Since then peace and normalcy have returned to J&K. Growth and development have brought new meaning to human life in the valley once torn by violence. Prosperity in the tourism and agriculture sectors has raised the income levels of the residents of both Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh.
“Today, the Supreme Court’s verdict has proved that the decision to abrogate #Article370 was completely constitutional. #NayaJammuKashmir" - Amit Shah, Union Home Minister ”

Veteran Congress leader and Maharaja Hari Singh's son Karan Singh on Monday welcomed the Supreme Court’s verdict on Article 370 saying that it gives clarity and stability to the situation.

“I welcome the verdict of the Supreme Court because it gives clarity and stability to the situation. And I congratulate the Supreme Court for the meticulous manner in which they have written the judgment looking at every single point that was raised.”
“I thank the apex court for the two new things, i.e. that statehood should be restored and for setting a deadline for the elections. I request the Prime Minister that it should be done…. don’t wait for until after the elections, don’t wait for the general elections as we will elect for state and not for Union Territory. - Maharaja Hari Singh's son Karan Singh ”

So we should have statehood before elections. And second they have put down a deadline for the holding of the elections, and I welcome both. My advice to them is now accept the reality and start preparing for the elections rather than getting involved in negative activities," he added.
