NECC bags Rs 52 crore order from GAIL

North Eastern Carrying Corporation Limited (NECC), a prominent logistics company, has recently announced that it has secured a lucrative order worth Rs 52.48 crore from GAIL (India) Limited, a state-owned enterprise.

According to NECC's regulatory filing on Thursday, the contract will span over a period of three years.

In a competitive bidding process, NECC emerged as the preferred choice for transporting polymer.

The company expressed its excitement over the news, stating, "We are delighted to have received the Letter of Acceptance from GAIL (India) Limited, one of the top central public sector undertakings, for the transportation of polymer. The contract is valued at Rs 52.48 crores and will be valid for a duration of three years."

NECC, headquartered in New Delhi, is a renowned name in the freight forwarding industry in India. The company also extends its services to neighboring countries like Bhutan and Nepal.

On the other hand, GAIL (India) Limited, under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, is the leading natural gas company in India.
