A few days ago, the makers of Sam Bahadur unveiled the film’s first song, "Badhte Chalo" ahead of the movie's release on December 1. Featuring Vicky Kaushal donned the role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw, the song is a stirring tribute to the indomitable spirit of the Indian Army.
Sung by the dynamic trio of Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani, and Divya Kumar, with lyrics penned by Gulzar, and music composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy, “Badhte Chalo” opens with Sam Manekshaw rallying his troops for battle, saying, “Wars ladna mera kaam hai aur unko jeetna bhi (It is my work to fight wars and win them).”
