RRR craze all over the world! Tickets sold out in 98 Seconds at LA's famous Theatre

All tickets of the RRR movie at the biggest IMAX theatre in the world which seats 932 people, were sold out in just 98 seconds, all tickets at the biggest IMAX theatre in the world.

SS Rajamouli’s RRR has been hitting headlines since its release. Apart from being a blockbuster hit in India, the epic period drama went on to become the talk of the town on global platforms. From the USA to China, the Ram Charan-Jr NTR starrer has been winning hearts and selling tickets like hotcakes.

The tickets for the film at the world’s biggest IMAX theatre sold out within 98 seconds! As part of Beyond Fest’s ‘encoRRRe’ campaign, the film will be screened at the TCL Chinese IMAX Theatre (Los Angeles) on January 9.
 
Beyond Fest took to Twitter to share this legendary feat and described it as a ‘historic moment’ for Indian films.
 
“It's official and it's historic. @RRRMovie sold out the @ChineseTheatres @IMAX in 98 seconds. There has never been a screening like this of an Indian film before because there has never been a film like RRR before. Thank you @ssrajamouli @Tarak9999 @AlwaysRamCharan @MMKeeravani (sic),” tweeted Beyond Fest.
 
 
This is not the first time ‘RRR’ has sold out at the TCL Chinese theatre. In October 2022, when the Rajamouli directorial was showcased at the TCL Chinese Theatre, 932 seats were sold out within 20 minutes. The film collected $21,000 from that single show.
 
The movie went on to be one of the biggest juggernauts. It minted more than Rs 1200 crore worldwide. The Rajamouli film has also bagged Golden Globe nominations for best foreign film and best original song.
 
Set in pre-Independence India, the film revolves around the real-life friendship of two revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju (Ram Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao) and their fight to liberate India from the British Raj.
