'Sar Tan Se Juda' calls begin in Sweden Quran burning case

Stockhome, Jan 23: As a right-wing extremist group in Sweden burns the Islamic holy scripture Quran, tensions between this Nordic county and Islamic nations have risen to an all-time high. In the 2022 elections, Sweden got a Right-wing government after a very long time. Sweden, a country supposed to be a liberal heaven is witnessing, ‘illiberal’ and ‘fundamentalist’ tendencies according to liberals.

 

 

 

Amid Quran burning, the usual suspects and the usual diatribe against Sweden have surfaced on the internet by the Islamists. Among this, the ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’ call also exists. Prominent Islamists in key government positions in various Islamic countries have given this call. One of which is Ramazan Izol from Turkey.

 

 

 

Ramazan has asked Muslims have they are silent. He went on to say, if he catches this rascal (the man who burnt Quran) he will burn him alive. This is the usual dog-whistling by the Islamists to ignite the fire. Of course, the fact that this guy calls Pakistan his second home makes perfect sense.

 

 

 

This generates momentum for ground-level protests and rioting which would trample any criticism against their religion. This also helps Islamist to create unity among their fold and make their politics more relevant.
