Sukhbir Singh Badal tweeted, “Submitted a memorandum to the Punjab Governor & urged him to order CBI & ED probes in the Rs 500 crore scam committed by the AAP govt in Punjab through its "tailor-made" excise policy framed in line with Delhi Policy, which has already been found illegal & case has been registered by CBI.” After meeting the Punjab governor, Badal alleged that the Punjab excise policy is the exact copy of the Delhi policy. “We met the governor of Punjab. The way LG in Delhi ordered a CBI probe. Delhi excise policy is an exact copy of the Punjab policy. Punjab excise commissioner was called to Delhi. They had a meeting. This was to benefit a few. They have created a monopoly. If only one sells only he makes a profit. Earlier 100 would sell now one will sell,” he added.

The Shiromani Akali Dal president also said, "if Arvind Kejriwal is CM it is because of Anna Hazare. He took education from him.”
