Ripples A Reflection On Dattopant Thengadi's Third Way Part 53: Reach for Param Vaibhavam

I have been reflecting in my own way on Dattopant Thengadi Ji's Third Way. I present these small "ripples" that it has caused in my mind in a series. I am glad it has found its resonance in many thinking minds alike. I hope the readers have read the earlier article in the series before moving ahead.

Dattopant states that Shanti Mantra from Vedic scriptures or Pasaydan by Saint Dnyaneshwar clearly unfolds the manifestoes of Hindu Rashtra. Even Shri Guruji in Bunch of Thoughts reflects the philosophy of the seers.
He did not expect all the special characteristics of the groups or individuals to be axed. He expected 'opening out full and free scope for every small life specialty.'

Shri Aurobindo too explained the concept in his writings and addresses.

Some western thinkers too realized the value of this thought.

Arnold Toynbee ( An English historian, a philosopher of history, an author of numerous books, and a research professor of international history at the London School of Economics and King's College London. Toynbee was considered a leading specialist on international affairs) too thought that ' a great spiritual responsibility rests on India '.

With the principles of Sanatan Dharma and the thinking that all is One, our country can lead.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar referred to Buddhist philosophy whenever he talked about the values of liberty, equality, and fraternity. He observed that ' ' brotherhood can protect freedom and equality. It is social oneness, humanity, and Dharma '

Gandhi Ji always believed that 'Hinduism is a relentless pursuit after truth. It has become moribund, inactive, and unresponsive to growth, it is fatigued as soon as it is over, it will burst forth with a brilliance perhaps unknown before

The collection of articles, addresses, and papers circulated in the book 'Third Way' presents an argument to an extent. It explains how the two Major schools of thought ( capitalism and socialism) fall short of explaining and finding solutions to all the problems faced by humanity. How in the name of modernization the developing countries were led to a disastrous situation and how most of the theories followed at the international level only helped the developed countries. Dattopant explained many aspects by referring to various Indian and non-Indian thinkers who are known experts.

There has to be a 'third way' to deal with various issues being faced by all at different levels. Dattopant strongly suggests that the eternal principles of Sanatan Dharma can lead all to the right path.

Appendix 1 analyses the concept of revolution to a great extent. A couple of more 'Ripples' would be sufficient to describe the thought. Would definitely attempt to introduce another book. Dhanyawad. This is my first attempt but it gave me tremendous insight into many issues, made me read a lot to understand the concepts involved. I grew with the Ripples.
