Raj Thackeray is known for his blunt and outspoken nature. He is famous for the way he speaks and attracts the audience, however, he has been criticized a lot of times for the same and for his work too. He has been one politician who has always managed to take the limelight. Without being in power and much support he has spoken some truth bombs many times.
Today we will talk about those 4 times when Raj Thackeray burst the truth bombs and we can’t deny the fact :
1. When Raj Thackrey Supported Nupur Sharma: Recently in a huge gathering Raj Thakeray spoke about the Nupur Sharma incident, and said, “When Akbaruddin Owaisi insulted our Hindu gods by calling them “Manhood” he did not have to apologize? When Zakir Naik said the same thing in an interview that Nupur Sharma said on a panel discussion, no one did anything to Zakir Naik, No one supported Nupur Sharma, she was thrown away from her own party and everybody apologized. For What? I took her side I supported her.” Well, this is bitter to listen but it is a truth that Zakir Naik did say the same thing in an interview and no one did anything. Was expelling Nupur Sharma the right decision?
2. Shivsena is broken today, and the credit goes to Uddhav Thackeray not BJP: Yet again Raj Thackeray made headlines when in an interview he said that “Shivsena has broken into two groups and the credit for the same goes to Uddhava Thackeray, not BJP. MLAs decided to walk away from Udhhav Thackrey and his Sivsena, and today also reasons are the same. When I walked out of Shivsena my reasons were the same, today also nothing has changed.” Well, this may sound political but as we all saw what happened in Maharashtra Politics in June, and what happened after that, we can’t blame him for this statement.
3. Why Should loudspeakers are played in mosques at such huge volume: On the Loudspeaker issue that was going on a few days back in Maharashtra, Raj Thackeray bluntly said that “We will play Hanuman Chalisa in Front of Mosques on the loudspeaker. Why do you need to say the prayer out loud on loudspeakers? Take pride in your own religion but don’t disturb others.” Well, he was quite right. Do we really need to have loudspeakers in mosques? Now please don’t say We do the same in Ganpati and Navratri, well it isn’t there in every part of India and it is only for 20 days a year. If we talk about Loudspeakers in Moseqes, you will listen to it 5 times a day * 365 days. There is a difference.
4. I walked out of Shivsena with head held high, I wasn’t a traitor: Everyone knows the Drama behind Raj Thackrey’s walking out from Shivsena. Once Raj Thackeray said that his role was not clear in Shivsena. When Uddhava was declared as the heir of Shivsena, everybody expected the Shivsena will go to Raj Thackery’s hands, but destiny had some other plans, And Raj Walked out. Truth is he walked out his head held high and he wasn’t a traitor for Shivsena.
Raj Thackeray has never been the total black or total white. He said a few things that you can’t deny, also he made some really questionable and controversial statements.
