The primary opposition party, the Indian National Congress ran with this idea so much that it even asked the RSS to change its DP on social media. Needless to say that the RSS also changed its DP to the tricolor when everyone else did.

New Delhi, Aug 14: When PM Modi appealed to the citizens to change social media handles’ DPs to the tricolor, many opposition parties, rejected the idea and even made fun of it. But eventually, these parties fell in line. As they saw the overwhelming public support for this idea by the PM, they wanted to avoid a public perception that these parties are against the national flag, lack patriotism, or are anti-national.
The primary opposition party, the Indian National Congress ran with this idea so much that it even asked the RSS to change its DP on social media. Needless to say that the RSS also changed its DP to the tricolor when everyone else did. The INC wanted to prove that RSS opposes the tricolor and hence isn't changing the DP. But that did not happen. All the RSS social media handles have changed the DP. But there are still some handles which are yet to change. Here are some examples.
In UP, both the caste based and Nepotistic regional parties have not changed their DPs.
In Bihar again, both the caste based and Nepotistic regional parties have not changed their DPs.
In Maharashtra, neither of the Thackrey parties have changed their DPs.
Apart from these, Dravidian parties in TN, Akalis in Punjab, JMM in Jharkhand and all of the Kashmiri parties such as PDP and JKNC have also not changed their DPs.
But the most brazen and shocking of the all, although the most unsurprising are AAP, AIMIM and the Left parties, who have not changed DP of any of their twitter handles in any of the states. Not a single twitter handle of either AAP or its leaders, Left parties or its leaders have changed their twiter DPs to Tricolor.
