Bengaluru, July 28: Issuing a warning, in awake of the brutal killing of the BJP youth leader that took place on Tuesday evening, the Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai, said that if the situation remains the same then he will not hesitate to implement Yogi Adityanath's UP model in the state.
He further continued and said that, if needed, the state government would bring in something stricter than the Yogi Adityanath model.
While addressing the press conference, when the journalist asked the question regarding the safety of Hindus after the murder of the Right-wing member. Karnataka CM said, “Whatever possible we will do that. If need be, if the situation says ‘UP model’ or much stricter than that we will not hesitate for that also.”
CM Bommai added, "Yogi Adityanath is the correct chief minister to handle the situation in Uttar Pradesh. Similarly, there are different ways to deal with the situation in Karnataka and all of them are being used. If the situation demands, the UP model will also be implemented in Karnataka."
It should be noted that Karnataka police have arrested two Popular Front of India members on suspicion of involvement in the BJP Yuva Morcha member Praveen Kumar Nettaru’s murder case. They have been identified as Shafiq Baller and Zaqir Savanuru. Praveen Nettaru was hacked to death with lethal weapons by unidentified people in front of his broiler shop when he was heading home after closing his shop on Tuesday night.
