It should be noted, as the Union Minister, Pralhad Joshi, has suggested, PFI and its student wing Social Democratic Party of India's involvement in the BJP Yuva leader's murder. While talking to the private media house Joshi said, “Initial indications and a few media stories point to connections between SDPI and PFI. In Kerala, they are being promoted. Besides, several right-wing groups have accused the Popular Front of India (PFI) and Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) to be behind the murder.
On Tuesday, a BJP worker was hacked to death with lethal weapons by unidentified persons on a bike in Bellare, Dakshina Kannada. Interestingly, the eye witness alleged the assailants came on a bike with Kerala’s registration number. The location where the incident happened is close to the Kerala border.
Noteworthily, form a few months, a heinous crime against the right-wing members has been rising in South India, especially in Karnataka and Kerala. Last week, an RSS worker was hacked to death by some unidentified miscreants. Similarly, in April 2022, another RSS worker was brutally killed by the PFI workers in Palakkad. The police said that 45-year-old
Srinivasan was attacked by a group of assailants at his shop in the heart of Palakkad town.
During the investigation of the murder, Kerala police found out that PFI and SDPI created a list in which they had shortlisted more than 100 BJP and RSS activists’ names for murder.
