No shifting of Kashmiri Pandits to Jammu Division
This came as there has been growing demand for shifting Kashmiri Pandit employees to safer places after a series of targeted killings. Apart from this, Amarnath Yatra would go on as scheduled from June 30-August 11. There will be any plans to postpone or cancel the Yatra as the killings have been increased recently in the Kashmir Valley.

The tensions increased when a Kashmiri Pandits migrant Rahul was shot dead by terrorists on May 12 at his office in Chadoora of Budgam in central Kashmir. Notably, he was employed under a prime minister's package.

The terrorists are trying to instil fear among the public and create chaos in the Kashmir Valley. In order to protect them, it is being reported that Kashmiri Pandit PM Package employees will be transferred to district headquarters in Kashmir with good security and regular patrolling will take place.
