New Delhi, Jun 3: President of India, Ram Nath Kovind is scheduled to visit the state of Uttar Pradesh, starting from today (Jun 3) and will continue until Jun 6. Besides, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be visiting Uttar Pradesh today, in Lucknow where he will attend the Ground Breaking Ceremony 3.0 of the UP Investors Summit.
As per the planned schedule, on first day of his visit (Jun 3) President Kovind will visit his native village – Paraunkh in Kanpur Dehat where he will address a public gathering, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also be present. On Jun 4, the President will address the 90th year celebrations of the Merchants Chamber of Uttar Pradesh at Kanpur. On the same day, he will also be present at the centenary celebrations of Gita Press at Gorakhpur.
On Jun 5, the President will visit Maghar where he will pay his tributes to Sant Kabir Das and inaugurate the Sant Kabir Academy and Research Centre and Swadesh Darshan Yojana. The President will conclude his Uttar Pradesh visit on Jun 6, by addressing the special joint session of Uttar Pradesh Vidhan Mandal.
At the same time, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is to reach Paraunkh village in Kanpur by noon today, where he will accompany President Kovind to visit Pathri Mata Mandir. Thereafter, the two will visit Dr. B R Ambedkar Bhawan, which will be followed by a visit to Milan Kendra. The Milan Kendra is the ancestral house of President Kovind that was donated for public use and converted to a community centre.
During the Ground Breaking Ceremony, Prime Minister will lay the foundation stone of 1406 projects worth more than Rs. 80,000 crores. The projects encompass diverse sectors like Agriculture and Allied, IT and Electronics, MSME, Manufacturing, Renewable Energy, Pharma, Tourism, Defence and Aerospace, Handloom and Textiles and similar other areas.
