Biopic on Atal Bihari Vajpayee announced, to release on Christmas 2023

Mumbai, June 29: A film on former Prime Minister of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was announced recently. The title of the film is Main Rahoon Ya Na Rahoon Yeh Desh Rehna Chahiye Atal.
The release date will coincide with the 99th birth anniversary of Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee. The star cast hasn’t been confirmed yet.
He served as Prime Minister thrice - briefly in 1996, and then for two terms between 1998 & 2004. One of the prominent leaders of the country and founder members of the Bharatiya Janata Party, Vajpayee died on August 16, 2018, at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) after a prolonged illness, at age of 93.
The film will be based on the book, The Untold Vajpayee: Politician And Paradox by Ullekh NP & will release in Christmas 2023. Filmmaker Sandeep Singh and producer Vinod Bhanushali have come together to come up with this special project.
A partial glimpse of the film, based on former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was unveiled. The film will go on floor in early 2023 and will release during Christmas of the same year.
