Copenhagen, May 3: PM Modi left Berlin on May 2 (Berlin Time) to begin the second leg of his visit to the three European nations; Germany, Denmark and France. After landing at Copenhagen, PM Modi met his Danish counterpart PM Mette Frederiksen.
Ahead of his departure, PM Modi thanked the German govt for their hospitality during the 'productive' visit. He tweeted, "My Germany visit has been a productive one. The talks with Olaf Scholz were extensive and so were the Inter - Governmental Consultations. I got a great opportunity to interact with business and Indian community leaders. I thank the German govt for their hospitality."
Later on reaching Denmark, PM Modi took a private tour of his Danish counterpart PM Mette Frederiksen. About the brief visit at PM Frederiksen's residence, MEA tweeted, "Walking the talk, PM Modi and Danish PM Mette Frederiksen at Mareinborg. The bonhomie between the two leaders mirrors the close ties between India and Denmark." At the same time, PMO tweeted, "Coversations in Copenhagen aimed at boosting India - Denmark friendship. PM Frederiksen welcomed PM Narendra Modi at Mareinborg."
India and Denmark on Tuesday (May 3) exchanged letters of intent and MoUs in the presence of both the leaders. The two also held delegation-level talks in Copenhagen to review progress in the Green Strategic Partnership between the two countries.
