Muslims in Kashmir burn Pakistan's flag at Lal Chowk to protest against terrorism

Kashmiri Hindus have been protesting at Srinagar"s Lal Chowk, against terrorism that has been recently catalyzed yet again, in the heart of Kashmir. The Hindu protestors were recently accompanied by their Muslim brothers from the valley, demanding a terror free Kashmir.

Srinagar, May 28: The Muslims of Kashmir have been peacefully protesting against the growing incidents of deaths and attacks on individuals in the valley linking to terrorism. Recently, the Muslim protestors burnt the national flag of Pakistan at the historic Lal Chowk, in Srinagar, in protest of the growing militancy.

Muslim protestors of Srinagar have been protesting peacefully against the growing incidents of terrorists and militants attacking residents of J&K. In continuation of the protests and to display their hatred towards the militants and separatist elements active in Jammu and Kashmir, the protestors on May 26, burnt the national flag of Pakistan; Sabz Parcham, at Ganta Ghar in Srinagar's historic Lal Cowk.
 
 
 
 
 
The attacks are taking place in a similar manner as had happened during the 1989 Exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits. However, the attacks haven't reached that severity yet and the state administration as well as central govt is taking complete care of the same to not happen again. In the 1990's, the militants had unfurled the Sabz Parcham at the Ghanta Ghar, celebrating their victory in their treacherous agenda. Therefore, today the Muslims protesting against terrorism burning the Pakistani flag at Lal Chowk has immense sentimental value among nationalist Kashmiris, despite of any communal divide.
