The Kashmir Files similar to my show Fauda: Tsahi Halevi, Vivek Agnihotri reacts

In an interview Halevi said, "I always believe that through art you can make people think about issues. Like in Fauda, you bring out the human aspect of conflict. Maybe you can expose people more."

Mumbai, May 18: Israeli actor Tsahi Halevi, known for his Netflix show Fauda, recently compared his show to Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files. In his recent interview, the actor revealed that the last Indian movie he saw was The Kashmir Files.

In his interview, the actor pointed out similarities between Vivek Agnihotri's film, The Kashmir Files and his show Fauda. In the interview Halevi said, "The last Indian movie I have seen is The Kashmir Files. If I speak on just the artistic point, it’s very well done. The actors are just wow. I always believe that through art you can make people think about issues. Like in Fauda, you bring out the human aspect of conflict. Maybe you can expose people more."

After Agnihotri came across Tsahi's statement, the filmmaker took to Twitter and wrote, "International praise and support for the victims of #KashmirGenocide pouring everyday for the #TheKashmirFiles."

Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files turned out to be a hit at the box office. The film released on March 11, scored more than a double century at the BO. It featured Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumar. The movie was based on the exodus of Kashmiri Pandits in the disputed region of Kashmir.
