Brussels, Apr 9: European Commission President Ursula Von Der Leyen, who visited Ukraine's Bucha town where Russian forces allegedly massacred and raped hundreds of civilians, said that the world was mourning with the people of Bucha.
Ursula Von Der Leyen seemed moved by the sight of the town and addressed the media saying that she has witnessed the unthinkable. After visiting a mass grave in Bucha, of civilians found dead while the Russian forces withdrew over the birder to Belarus, the EC President said "Here in Bucha, we saw humanity being scattered and the whole world is mourning with the people of Bucha...and therefore, we stand with them in this important fight."

She further added, "The unthinkable has happened here. We have seen the cruel face of Putin's army. We have seen the recklessness and the cold-heartedness with which they have been occupying the city." European Union's Foreign Affairs Chief Josep Borell Fontelles associated EC President to the Bucha visit.
Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Eduard Heger and EC President reached Kyiv on Apr 8 to meet Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and discuss the bloc's proposal for the country invaded by Russia.
