After Wang Yi's visit to New Delhi, Tibetan delegates visit Parliament

The delegation of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile led by Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang that is visiting India, consists of Parliamentarians Tenpa Yarphel, Khenpo Kada Ngedup Sonam, and Phurpa Dorjee Gyaldhong. The visit was officially scheduled from Apr 4 to Apr 8.

New Delhi, Apr 8: After Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi's official visit to India, by the end of last month, a delegation of Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile led by Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang is presently visiting New Delhi. The delegation is scheduled to meet over 30 Indian MPs and Taiwan envoy in Delhi.

Days after Chinese FM Wang Yi's visit to New Delhi, top Tibetan official meets Indian MPs, Taiwan envoy in Delhi. The Deputy Speaker of the Tibetan Parliament in exile Dolma Tsering Teykhang met MPs from BJP, Congress, AAP in the Parliament.
 
 
According to the official notification of the Tibetan govt in exile, the delegation of the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile led by Deputy Speaker Dolma Tsering Teykhang that is visiting India, consists of Parliamentarians Tenpa Yarphel, Khenpo Kada Ngedup Sonam, and Phurpa Dorjee Gyaldhong. The visit was officially scheduled from Apr 4 to Apr 8.
 
 
During the end of last month, when the Chinese FM was on India's visit, the Tibetan MPs in-exile, who live in Dharamshala, had called upon the Indian govt to urge China to resume the dialogue with spiritual leader Dalai Lama. Thubten Gyatso, Tibetan MP in-exile had called for an end to the repressive Chinese policies in Tibet and said, “I request the govt to raise the Tibetan issue during the meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister and urge China to resume dialogue with Dalai Lama.”
 
 
During Wang Yi's visit, Tibetan MP in-exile Chodak Gyamtso had said, "It's important that the Tibetan issue is raised by both sides. Such a visit by the Chinese foreign minister is a good sign. It's essential for the two giant Asian countries to maintain positive ties." The current visit of the Tibetan delegation comes in line with the same events.
