New Delhi, Apr 23: External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar on called on the visiting Mauritius Prime Minister of Mauritius, Pravind Jugnauth on Apr 23. Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth initially participated in the inauguration ceremony of the WHO-Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar.

The Mauritian Prime Minister is on an eight-day visit to India. He arrived in Gujarat's Rajkot, on Apr 18. He is being accompanied by his wife Kobita Jugnauth and a high-level team. Mauritius Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth participated in the inauguration ceremony of the WHO-Global Centre for Traditional Medicine in Jamnagar on Tuesday (Apr 19) and also participated in the Global Ayush Investment and Innovation Summit in Gandhinagar with Prime Minister Narendra Modi the following day.
 
The two leaders, Mauritius PM and Indian MEA, were also engaged in a bilateral meeting. During the meet, the two discussed the ongoing development partnership and cooperation in defence. On Apr 21, PM Jugnauth also offered prayers at Varanasi's Kashi Vishwanath Temple and met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
