Mumbai, April 19: The trailer of Ranveer Singh's new film, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, dropped on Tuesday and it definitely a ride full of emotions. The trailer of the film conveyes a truly social important message coupled with humour.
This upcoming social comedy also stars Shalini Pandey. Singh intends to challenge the notion of a typical hero. “Hopefully, Jayeshbhai will change the definition of heroism on screen, and leave people with an important message in the most entertaining and hilarious fashion. Here, the hero is the most innocent and honest person you have met in a long time.”
Ranveer Singh's character is shown as a titular one, but his journey of self discovery and siding with what is right looks to be a bumpy one. Ranveer Singh shared the trailer of the film on his Instagram saying, "It's here. Jayeshbhai Jordaar trailer is out. Celebrate Jayeshbhai Jordaar withYRF50 only at a big screen near you on 13th May."
The film has been written and directed by Divyang Thakkar and it has been produced by Maneesh Sharma. The film will open in theatres on May 13.

Meanwhile, talking about his character in Jayeshbhai Jordaar, Ranveer had stated that it is the first time he has done such a role. “I like that I am able to surprise my audience. This is the first time I am playing such a character in my 10 years of being an actor. Jayesh is a very distinctive character, and I am happy I got a chance to present a completely new facet,” he added.
