New Delhi, April 15: Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri's The Kashmir Files turned out to be a massive hit. The film's touching storyline and powerful performances left the audience and critics floored. The film, based on the exodus of Kashmiri Hindus in the 1990s, starred Mithun Chakraborty, Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, and Pallavi Joshi.
After ruling the box office, Vivek has now announced his next film. The filmmaker will now be working on The Delhi Files. Taking to Twitter earlier today, the filmmaker wrote, "I thank all the people who owned #TheKashmirFiles. For last 4 yrs we worked very hard with utmost honesty & sincerity. I may have spammed your TL but it’s important to make people aware of the GENOCIDE & injustice done to Kashmiri Hindus. It’s time for me to work on a new film."
In the following tweet, he announced the name of his next project that has been named "The Delhi Times".
Following this announcement, Anupam Kher who was an integral part of the film "The Kashmir Files", wished him good luck. "Good luck dear Vivek Agnihotri for #TheDelhiFiles!! I am sure as a filmmaker you will do great justice to another chapter of our past dealt wrongly. Looking forward to be part of it. #RightToLife"
