When movies are made on same subjects, comparisons are bound to happen. After watching #KashmirFiles ,what pains is the false portrayal in Shikara. Now I realise why the community did not come together the way they came for this one. Grief unites. In this case generational.

Haven't watched #KashmirFiles yet. But the difference in reviews of #KashmirFiles and Shikara (2020 film, by VVC) speaks volumes of the content shown.

He wrote a book hiding truth on how Kerala defeated Corona.. Did it stop thousands of deaths?
KP demanding right is not message of peace?
Did Shikara stop them from killing Bihari panipuri vendors? pic.twitter.com/uSPTPNzDGD
That crap movie Haider made Rs 89.21 crore worldwide. Shikara made Rs 8.15 crore. Mission Kashmir made Rs 43.3 crore. May #TheKashmirFiles reach 500 crores and teach a lesson to all those moviemakers who shied away from telling the true story of what happened in Kashmir.

If India can tolerate and appreciate films like Haider and Mission Kashmir - we should NOT have a problem with #TheKashmirFiles

It is based on a real story. Just because it is not easy to digest doesn't make it any less true.
