Amitabh Bachchan unveils teaser of new biopic 'Jhund'

Mumbai, February 9: Get ready to witness Amitabh Bachchan playing the part of a retired sports professor in his upcoming film 'Jhund'. Big B took to Instagram to unveil the film's teaser.

In the teaser, children can be seen sitting on a ground, using scrap metal and junk as percussion. Amitabh is then seen walking towards them as the beats grow louder.
 
 
Helmed by Nagraj Manjule, 'Jhund' is based on the life of NGO Slum Soccer founder Vijay Barse, who motivates slum-dwellers to form a football team, and coaches them. Sharing the clip, Big B wrote, "Meri team taiyaar hai aur aap? Aa rahe hain hum. Jhund releasing on 4th March 2022 in cinemas near you. Teaser out now."

Bachchan can be seen playing the role of Vijay Barse, the founder of Slum Soccer. This is an organisation which uplifts underprivileged children through football. It was supposed to hit the theatres on May 8, 2020, but it was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. It will now be releasing on March 4.
