Lucknow, Feb 8: Addressing a gathering of Christians and others here recently, senior RSS functionary and Patron of MRM Indresh Kumar said that the new India is emerging where development is accorded a top priority and not the appeasement.
The aim of the present government is to develop the country and obtain the trust of all religions as that is the key to success and not appeasement. Unlike the previous governments, this government does not believe in politics of appeasement, Kumar said.
The earlier Congress and Secular party governments used to fight for the votes of Christians, Muslims, and Hindus which often led to differences, clashes, and conflicts among the communities. Today, India is on a new path where there is no hatred, but only reconciliation and love, Indresh Kumar said. He further added that the biggest reason for this is that the aim of the present-day government is to develop all religions by respecting each other and obtaining everyone’s trust. This is the key to success and not the politics of appeasement, he clarified.
He was addressing the audience comprised of various organizations of Christians and Hindus at a program her in Lucknow on Friday. The program was interactive and discussed issues of development, unity, goodwill brotherhood, and peace in the country.
Since independence, the people of this country have fought over religion and they were also asked to stay away from the RSS and the BJP by these secular parties, he said.
“But one can understand that India has changed. With the change, a new India has emerged. This is the India that takes people of every religion and community to come forward for the country’s development. He said that no religion should attack any other religion but should come together on one platform and find a solution to their problems”.
