I have been reflecting in my own way on Dattopant Thengadi Ji's Third Way. I present these small "ripples" that it has caused in my mind in a series. I am glad it has found its resonance in many thinking minds alike. I hope the readers have read the earlier article in the series before moving ahead.
Dattopant states the importance of 'Integrated view' for the just global order. The nature and objectives of the present system are to be changed . It is a paradigm shift. He gives many examples of such shift.
1) monopoly capitalism to be replaced by free competition without manipulated markets
2) Wage employment economic theories to be replaced by self employment
3) Replacing disparities by equitability and equality
4) Rape of nature to be replaced by milking nature
5) Conflict between an individual , the society and nature to be replaced by harmony between them. The question is
can this be done?
It is certainly naive to imagine sheer preaching these lofty aims would bring change in the society.
The situation is such that self contradiction of capitalism as a model is obvious. Looking at it's limitations ,It cannot survive for a long time.Communism didn't seem to provide a comprehensive solution .
The developed countries still have a very powerful weapon of the global order that is the 'knowledge power'. It makes them a little arrogant too. Developing countries have talent but material and monetary resources are still the strong points of the developed countries.

Developed countries have been following the policies that further their interests. Developing countries are in a way at a disadvantageous position.
How can this be dealt? Dattopant takes it to an altogether different plain.
