New Delhi, Dec 6: Noting India's G20 Presidency is an honor for the country which every Indian should take pride in, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday sought cooperation from political parties for its success and termed them, stakeholders.
This came after An All Party meeting was held on Monday to discuss aspects relating to India’s G20 Presidency. The meeting, which was chaired by PM Narendra Modi, witnessed active participation from political leaders across the length and breadth of India.
Highlighting the large number of visitors who would be coming to India during India’s G20 Presidency, PM Modi took note of the potential for promoting tourism and boosting the local economies of the venues where G20 meetings would be organized.
Before PM Modi spoke, various political leaders shared their valuable insights on India’s G20 Presidency, including BJP President J.P. Nadda, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal.
Besides, Andhra Pradesh CM Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, CPI (M) Secretary-General Sitaram Yechury, Leader of the Opposition of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin, AIADMK leader Edappadi K. Palaniswami, Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and others were also present.

Brief interventions were made by Home Minister Amit Shah and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman while a detailed presentation encapsulating aspects of India's G-20 priorities was also made, the statement said.
